French violin bow by Francois Xavier Tourte, ca. 1810
A rare, superb French violin bow made by Francois Xavier Tourte ca. 1810 with frog and button made by Isaac Salchow. This is a fine example, also a soloist level sounding and handling bow. The length of the stick is 72.5 cm and the weight of the bow is 61 g.
