French violin bow by E.F. Ouchard made ca. 1920, Tourte model.
A very fine French violin bow made by E.F. Ouchard circa 1920 with inspiration of Tourte model, branded “TOURTE”. The stick is orange brown pernambuco of excellent choice, round, strong with a perfect flexibility, good balance and fine sound. The frog is ebony with silver mountings. The button is ebony with two silver rings. The length of the stick is 72.6 cm and the weight of the bow is 58g (with light, original winding). This is a wonderful playing bow in a fine state of preservation (perfect stick and little wear to the frog).
Certificate: Pierre Guillaume.
