French violin made by H.C. Sivestre, 1888
French violin made by H.C. Silvestre in Paris 1888, as indicated on the original label, branded to the upper block and to the center of the back. This excellent modelled and sounding instrument is in a perfect state of preservation. The length over the back is 35.7 cm.
