A very fine German violin bow made by Johann Wilhelm Knopf ca. 1890. This is a wonderful example made with an inspiration of Tourte model, also branded “TOURTE”. The stick is dark brown pernambuco of superior choice and figuration, octagonal, strong with fine flexibility, good balance and a first class sound. The length of the stick is 72.9 cm and the weight of the bow is 62 g. This bow is excellent state of preservation and recommended as an outstanding, high level example that is suitable for a very fine musician or a collector.
