A very fine German viola bow made by Herman Richard Pfretzschner ca. 1880. H.R. Pfretzschner was an excellent maker who also went to study and worked for one year for J.B. Vuillaume in Paris. This beautiful and excellent sounding bow is made with the influence of F.N. Voirin. It is in a very fine state of preservation. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight of the bow is 70 g.
