A very fine German violin bow made by Herman Richard Pfretzschner ca. 1885. H.R. Pfretzschner was excellent maker who went to study and worked for J.B. Vuillaume in Paris. His beautiful bows are often made with influence of F.N. Voirin.This is a fine example of the maker’s work made in elegant style. The bow is in excellent state of preservation. This is a very nice playing bow with a wonderful tonal quality and fine handling.
