French rare bass bow by Nicolas Maline, ca. 1860.
A very fine, rare French bass bow made by Nicolas Maline ca. 1860. The stick is red-brown pernambuco, the frog is ebony with silver mountings, the button is ebony and silver. This is an outstanding sounding and handling bow, suitable for a soloist.
