French violin bow made by M.Lapierre, 1955.
A very fine French violin bow made by M. Lapierre in 1955, as indicated on the maker’s dated brand on the stick under the frog. This is excellent example from the maker’s prime period of work made in the style of E.A. Ouchard. This is excellent playing bow in immaculate, very pure and all original state of preservation. The bow is suitable for a fine player or a collector. The length of the stick is 73.1 cm and the weight of the bow is 61 g.
