French violin bow made by Charles Louis Bazin, ca. 1925.
A very fine French violin bow made by Charles Louis Bazin ca. 1925 for the firm of Alexandre Delanoy. This is a very nice example and fine sounding/handling bow in a perfect of preservation. The stick is excellent mediumĀ brown pernambuco of fine selection and figuration, the frog and button are ebony with nickel-silver mountings. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight of the bow is 60 g. This bow is recommended to a fine musician looking for excellent bow in moderate price range.
