German violin bow made by Carl Heinrich Knopf ca.1870.

A very fine German violin bow made by Carl Heinrich Knopf ca.1870 in Berlin. The stick is excellent dark red brown pernambuco, the frog and button are ebony with silover mountings. The length of the stick is 72.6, the weight of the bow is 56 g with original, very light tinsel winding. This is a beautiful example and a wonderful playing bow, suitable for a very fine musician.
