French violin bow by L. Morizot Pere, ca. 1925.

A very fine French violin bow made by L. Morizot Pere ca. 1925, made for and branded “J.P. BEUSCHER PARIS” on the stick above the frog. This is a nice example from a significant figure In French bow making and a collaborator of Eugene Sartory. This is a wonderful playing bow in excellent condition. The stick is nice red-brown pernambuco, octagonal in shape; frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight is 59.5 g (with light original tinsel winding).

Certificates: J.F. Raffin, Paris
