French violin bow by Marc Laberte, circa. 1950.
A fine French violin bow made by Marc Laberte ca. 1950. This is a nice example and a fine playing bow in a very good state of preservation (just some cosmetic marks from using and playing). The stick is excellent red-brown pernambuco, round, strong with a nice flexibility, good balance and a fine sound. The frog and button are ebony with nickel mountings. The length of the stick is 73.2 cm and the weight of the bow is 59.5 g.
