French certified violin bow by L. Bazin, ca. 1945.
A very fine French violin bow made by L. Bazin ca. 1945. This is a very nice example of the maker’s work virtually in brand new, all original condition (including winding, leather grip and head plate). The stick is dark red brown pernambuco of excellent selection and figuration, round; the frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. This is a wonderful sounding, very nicely handling strong bow with a perfect flexibility. The length of the stick is 72.8 cm and the weight of the bow is 59 g (with an original light winding).
