French violin bow made by Charles Peccatte, ca. 1875
A fine French violin bow by Charles Peccatte made ca. 1875 for and branded by the firm of Gand & Bernardel. This is a magnificent example, also a superb playing bow in an excellent state of preservation. The length of the stick is 72.6 cm and the weight of the bow is 60 g.
