A rare, superb French violin bow made by Francois-Jude Gaulard (1787-1857) ca. 1830. This is a very nice example in a pure, excellent state of preservation. The length of the stick is 72.6 cm and the weight of the bow is 56 g. This remarkable example is a fine collector’s article, also a wonderful player’s bow.
