French cello bow made by M. Lapierre ca. 1960.
A very fine French cello bow made by M. Lapierre ca. 1960. This is a nice example in a fine state of preservation, branded twice to the stick and under the frog. Lapierre made some wonderful bows in the style of E.A. Ouchard. The length of the stick is 69.5 cm and the weight of the bow is 78 g. It is excellent, strong playing bow with fine and effortless handling.
