French superb violin bow made by J.J. Millant in Paris circa 1970. This is an exceptionally fine example from one of the few very best bow maker’s of 20th century. It is made as a personal interpretation of Dominique Peccatte model. The stick is golden-brown pernambuco of superior choice and magnificent figuration, 72.9 cm long. The weight of the bow is 60.9 g with an original silk winding. The bow is in pristine, collector’s state of preservation and definately belongs to elite level for performing qualities and sound production.
