French violin bow made by Charles Nicolas Bazin ca. 1890.
A very fine French violin bow made by Charles Nicolas Bazin ca. 1890 with inspiration of Tourte swan-head model, branded “TOURTE L”. This is beautiful, strong, excellent sounding violin bow in a fine sate of preservation. The length of the stick is 72.8 cm and the weight of the bow is 59 g.
