A very fine French violin bow made by Joseph Alfred Lamy pere in Paris ca. 1885. This is a good example and excellent playing bow from an important and highly regarded bow maker. The bow is in a fine state of preservation (with natural nut towards the winding next to the maker’s brand-stamp). The length of the stick is 73.2 cm and the weight of the bow is 58 g.
