German violin bow made by Johann Wilhelm Knopf ca.1870.
A rare, very fine German violin bow by Johann Wilhelm Knopf ca.1870 made for and branded by Karl Grimm. This is excellent, all original example in remarkably pure (like new) state of preservation retaining an original head plate and winding. This is a wonderful performing bow, suitable for a fine musician or a collector. The length of the stick is 73 cm.
