French violin bow made by Charles Nicolas Bazin, ca. 1885.
A very fine French violin bow made by Charles Nicolas Bazin ca. 1885. The round stick is nicely flamed golden-brown pernambuco, the frog and button are ebony with nickel mountings. This is a nice example in a very fine, all original state of preservation (retaining an original winding and grip). This is also a wonderful sounding and handling violin bow.
