fine old French violin bow Eugene Cuniot-Hury, ca.1890.
A very fine old French violin bow made by Eugene Cuniot-Hury ca. 1890. The stick is dark red brown pernambuco, round, strong with excellent sound and very nice handling. The frog and button are ebony with nickel silver mountings. This bow is in a rarely fine state of preservation, retaining an original head plate, winding and grip. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight of the bow is 60g. The bow is certified by Alex Gartsman and J.F. Raffin.
