A rare, very fine French viola bow made by Francois Peccatte ca. 1850. This is a very beautiful and remarkably pure, all original (including head plate and winding) example. This is also a powerful, excellent playing bow. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight of the bow is 63 g. The bow is suitable for a fine musician or a collector.
