French violin bow by Marc Laberte, c. 1950.

A fine French violin bow made by Marc Laberte ca. 1950. This is a nice example of the maker’s work in a very fine state of preservation.
The stick is dark red brown pernambuco of excellent choice, round,
strong with a good balance and excellent sound.  The frog and button are ebony with nickel mountings. The length of the stick is 73.2 cm and the weight of the bow is 61 g.
