Viola bow, Tourte school circa 1810.

A rare, superb viola bow, Tourte school made in the style of Nicolas Leonard Tourte ca. 1810. This is a wonderful bow made with exceptionally fine choice of flamed pernambuco with ebony/silver mounted frog and bone/silver mounted button. The length of the stick is 75.3 cm and the weight of the bow is 67.5 cm. The bow is in a very fine state of preservation and sounds fantastic!
