A very fine French violin bow made by Jean Joseph Martin ca. 1875. This is very nice example in a fine state of preservation. The stick is red brown pernambuco, round in shape. The frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The length of the stick is 73.1 cm and the weight of the bow is 59.5 g. This is excellent playing bow, suitable for a a very fine musician.
