French certified violin bow by L. Bazin, ca. 1935.
A very fine French violin bow made by L. Bazin ca. 1935. This is another very nice example of the maker’s work virtually in brand new, all original condition (including winding, leather grip and head plate). The stick is medium brown pernambuco of a fine selection selection, round; the frog and button are ebony with nickel-silver mountings. This is a very fine sounding and handling bow with a perfect balance between strength and flexibility. The length of the stick is 73.1 cm and the weight of the bow is 57 g (with an original light winding).
